Cleaning and Maintenance:If the filter becomes discolored R2C’s filters are manufactures with synthetic media and are washable using warm water and Simple Green (see below for ratio). Soak the filter in Simple Green mix for 3-4 minutes. Gently agitate the filter occasionally during soaking (too much soaking in Simple Green can harm aluminum). Rinse in clear running water until all the detergent has been removed. Shake any remaining water from the filter; DO NOT use compressed air to dry filter. Set filter aside with open end facing down in a warm, dry place for 24-48 hours until completely dry. Reinstall the filter, once it’s DRY.
Dilute 1 ounce of Simple Green to 4 cups water or 1:30 mix ratio
