The GPS09B Module connects to the SmartyCam HD Video Camera (sold separately) via a 4-pin 712 screw-in connector to provide GPS data such as speed, position, acceleration, and lap timing. This information can be overlaid directly on the video image as it records — no hassles trying to sync the data to the video afterwards!
The GPS09B is only used with the SmartyCam HD, SmartyCam HD 2,1, or SmartyCam GP HD.
It will not connect to the original SmartyCam, SmartyCam HD GP 2.2, or to any other data logger or dash.
The GPS09B is not needed if the SmartyCam HD is connected to an logger with built-in GPS (MyChron5, SoloDL/Solo2DL, MXm), or to a dash or logger with a GPS module already connected (MyChron4, MX-Series, or EVO Series with GPS).SmartyCam HD GP 2.2 uses the same GPS09 Module (Part No. MC-751) that dashes use.
