This special CAN cable plugs into the 7-pin CAN port on the original SmartyCam (2009-2013) or the current SmartyCam HD Rev 2 (2015+) to connect to your vehicle’s power supply. It is not used when the SmartyCam is connected to an Bridge or data logger (including SoloDL). An external microphone is incorporated into the cable. The input from this microphone automatically mixes with the sound from the SmartyCam internal microphone for enhanced sound. Measures 4M (13 feet) long.
