The GPS09B Module connects to the HD Video Camera (sold separately) via a 4-pin 712 screw-in connector to provide GPS data such as speed, position, acceleration, and lap timing. This information can be overlaid directly on the video image as it records — no hassles trying to sync the data to the video afterwards!
The GPS09B is only used with the HD, HD 2,1, or GP HD.
It will not connect to the original , HD GP 2.2, or to any other data logger or dash.
The GPS09B is not needed if the HD is connected to an logger with built-in GPS (5, SoloDL/Solo2DL, MXm), or to a dash or logger with a GPS module already connected (4, MX-Series, or EVO Series with GPS).HD GP 2.2 uses the same GPS09 Module (Part No. MC-751) that dashes use.
