1. Start by taking off the small screws that are holding the air box to the engine. Be sure to take off the screws evenly and do not overtighten them.

2. Carefully remove the air box top and bottom covers from the engine.

3. Once exposed, remove the old air filter from the unit. Usually older air filters are held in place by two clips or clamps.

4. Once you have the old filter out, take the new air filter and slide it in the same way the old one came out. Usually air filters are directional and should fit snugly.

5. Place the new air filter into the air box and replace the top and bottom covers. Be sure to replace any clamps or clips that were holding the old filter as well.

6. Once the covers are back on, start tightening the small screws evenly to the engine. Do not overtighten them.

7. Once the air filter is secure, your go-kart is ready to hit the track!
