1. Start by loosening the lug nuts on the wheel. Depending on your kart, the lug nuts may be on the outside or inside of the wheel. If the nuts are inside the wheel, you’ll need to remove the wheel first.

2. Lift the kart off the ground with a jack or other lifting device. Make sure the kart is stable and won’t fall off the jack while you’re working.

3. Remove the lug nuts and the wheel. Place the wheel aside and make sure the lug nuts are in a safe place so they don’t get lost.

4. Take off the old tire and rim. Some tires may have a metal or plastic band around the circumference of the tire. If so, use a tire-lever to remove this band.

5. Mount the new tire onto the rim. Make sure the tire is seated properly and all the edges of the tire are even.

6. Place the tire and rim back onto the kart. Make sure the lug nuts are tightened securely.

7. Lower the kart back onto the ground.

8. Check the tire pressure with a tire gauge and adjust accordingly.

9. Take the kart for a test drive to make sure everything is working properly.
